My Students

My students are creative and eager young artists. They come to art class ready to explore their creative potential. They are always interested in learning new things. Ninety-five percent of my students are African American students and on free lunch. The majority of my students take the bus to and from school.

I would love to make my students' projects come alive with technology using the Cricut Machine where they will be able to design, cut, print, and create 3D projects.

My Project

The Cricut Air 2 will be an amazing addition to our art classroom and school. It will help create exciting artwork on all grade levels. The Cricut will be used by the students in multiple ways. It will allow students to expand their artistic talents, show their creativity, and feel good about what they have accomplished. With Cricut, students will have the opportunity to create posters for assignments in core classes. It will allow the students to cut out letters and images to add to their projects.

With the Cricut, my students will be able to make and design countless custom projects.

We will use this Circut to help design customs signs in our hallways to get students engaged, give them inspiration, and move in the hallways during transitions to the bathroom, gym, and art class.
