Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students' love of reading is steadily growing. Help me provide them with some fun and comfortable seating options to enjoy their books. Reading books has been a primary focus in my class. My students are enjoying their independent reading time but would like another option of places to read other than just at their desks. Bean bags and floor seats would provide them with other options while making reading comfortable and relaxing. We could even take the seating outside on days when the weather is nice. Additional seating could also be used as incentives for those who are always doing the right thing.
