This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The best thing about teaching preschoolers is that we get to set the foundation for their love of learning and school. That not only means setting the foundation academically but also physically and emotionally also! An empty tummy cannot learn well so I like to provide snacks for my students. Many come to school hungry and seek extra care and love from us. We also each school lunch much earlier which means these little ones are starving by noon!

I would love to provide my students with healthier snack options such as yogurts, cheese, or juices but need these to be kept cold.

The mini fridge is a perfect way to keep snacks in the classroom for our littles and keep their tummies full!

The freezer can also be used for Science when we need to freeze items and store them for extended lessons!!

The possibilities of a happy, healthy child are endless!
