Hello everyone, I am a new teacher who just discovered Donors Choose recently. I have a class of twenty-two 4 and 5 year old students who have never been in a classroom environment before. These students are at the stage where it is important to foster a love of learning and a love for school so that the rest of their school years are a success, they are our future. Having new items in our classroom to help foster that environment is important and greatly needed. Many of these students are in a struggling home and find school to be something like an adventure!! Being a pre-kinder teacher I love the fact that I can help create a place where they can use their imaginations to find that adventurous place and find exciting new ways to learn. My students and I are grateful and appreciate everyone and anything that can ignite that fire for learning and love for school!!
