My Students

Our 1st Grade classroom includes a diverse group of students that come from lots of different backgrounds. This school year continues to be so different from other years we have experienced in the past.

I am teaching reading and writing to some amazing 6 and 7-year-old students!

Our school has amazing teachers and support staff that work diligently to provide a diverse and challenging educational experience.

My Project

I am asking for quality headphones for my students. My students are asked to bring headphones from home for when we are on technology. Not all my students' parents are able to do that. The headphones I have had in the past have started to die and so our class is in need of some more. My students use headphones when they are at centers and doing independent work.

The children need to have headphones as each one is completing their own task and it is important that they can hear their own iPad and focus on the task.

I have also asked for privacy shields. I have a small set but would like more. I use these to help children keep their eyes on their work. They also help children to focus on the task in front of them.
