This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a first grade teacher at a Title I school, in a low-income, high poverty school district, where 99% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. The students are faced with many challenges both in and out of the classroom and yet, they are always excited to come to school each morning and are willing and ready to learn.

My first graders are eager to engage in interactive learning activities and lessons that will help them be prepared and ready for the future.

My Project

Every chance I get, I would like to give my students opportunities to use their creativity and imagination. Learning about what the Cricut Explore Air 2 can do and how it has been such a positive effect on many classrooms and their communities, has brought me to create this project.

The Cricut Explore Air 2 would provide my students with the opportunity of using their imagination to create projects as well as boost their self-esteem.

My students and I will find the Circuit useful in many ways: adding to their class projects, creating posters, labeling around the room, beautifying bulletin boards and of course making greeting cards. This machine will surely allow them to take pride in their work.
