My Project

Fifth graders in Virginia study the transformation of energy. They learn about all type of energy including Mechanical, Electrical, Light, Thermal, and Sound Energy. They also learn about how energy is necessary for life to thrive in living things. With the items requested in this project, our young scientists will be able to get their hands on materials necessary to see energy transforming before their own eyes. In our science classroom, we use the inquiry approach that includes 5 Es: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. These materials are our students to and hear energy.
