This year has been filled with tremendous joy and love. All of the 2nd grade students have worked extremely hard by being ready and focused on learning. This allowed them to be READY to go into 3rd grade. The items in this project will give students the opportunity to participate in a celebration the last two weeks of school.
The 8 theme days will be craft day, pajama day, unbirthday day, water day, beach day, adventure day, glow day, and 2nd grade awards day!
So fun! We will use the materials in this project to support the cost of the supplies for each day. The goal of this project is to allow students to recognize and celebrate their high quality work. This will allow students to believe in themselves and reflect on all their learning, journeys, and friendships in 2nd grade while moving into summer which can be hard for some students. Our students are special becuase they are apart of an amazing community here at Leopold. Students can express themselves, their language, and their personalities without feeling ashamed. This is truly a year and something to celebrate.
