My Project

My sixth grade students love to create! They love drawing, coloring, stickers and decorating. They are energetic and enthusiastic when it comes to the opportunity to use art after studying a literary piece in our ELA class. Bringing literature to life through one of their own creations adds to their understanding and comprehension, plus it is FUN. Nothing improves literary skills like one’s imagination. As a teacher, I believe my students deserve every chance they can have to incorporate their creativity and imagination into their learning. For me and for them this is a win-win situation!!
