My students need a 3D Printer to continue to foster our love of all things STEM! We already have students enjoying Robotics and Engineering skills; 3D Printer will help them bring their ideas to life!

My Students

What a great group of students I have this year! They are exceptionally polite and work hard. They have some gaps in their education and we will strive to catch them up. Every day I see them wanting to improve and they are so eager to learn.

Our school is a K-8, with the middle school only a few years old.

Some students are still not sure how to be leaders, or use their skills to improve their education. There are still some growing pains, but we will help them reach their full potential soon!

My Project

If we were fortunate enough to receive a 3D Printer I'm sure our students will be overjoyed! They are always so willing to build objects with Legos and other building materials, but it's difficult for them sometimes to make their more intricate ideas come to fruition. This 3D Printer will be an important step in taking our students to the next level and allowing them to build objects that they come up with. Already students are talking about ways to design new spacecrafts, or devices to clean the oceans. If they could somehow turn their ideas to a model, it will help them redesign, innovate, and possibly come up with working models for the future!

It is not just hypothetical models that can be built, however.

Younger students can build pyramids when studying Egypt. Students can learn how to program computers to make models. They will have to research ideas, apply mathematics and science. Students can also use the Printer for Art. Can you imagine actually having a student design their own David statue, or abstract sculpture? I love when students have the opportunity to be creative with their learning. I strongly believe a 3D printer will give students a wonderful opportunity to be creative and think in the box, and outside the box! Thank you!
