Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach fifth graders that belong to different backgrounds and ethnicities in San Jose, California. My students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and inquiring learners who love to come to school each day. They are remarkably inspired to learn and do their best in school.

I teach at an exceptional, diverse, and distinctive school in California where more 100% of students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My students speak many different languages like different versions of Spanish, Tagalog or Irish at home. We always celebrate the things that make us different, and the things that make us the same. This wonderful class is a family at school.

Each of my students come with glee to learn and become inventive during my instructional time and having a digital camera in class will lead them to be even more creative, inquisitive and independent.

We are so diverse that pictures can show all the feelings and traits we always share respect, readiness, and solid teamwork.

I strongly believe that by providing a digital camera, it will be an essential tool for my students' development and their excitement to learn new skills when using it for our learning time. Our classroom needs a lot of visuals to conquer

attention and engagement from all my students.
