This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Civics teacher at a museum magnet school that creates one major exhibit yearly about topics they have learned about. The exhibits created are just like you would see at a real museum. Creating these works of art is great, but art supplies for 125 students can be quite expensive.

Therefore, I need canvas panels, paint, and paintbrushes so my students can create a state-of-the-art exhibit inspired by what we've learned in Civics.

We can't wait to start brainstorming ideas on what we will be creating (could it be the Preamble, American symbols, our Bill of Rights...the possibilities are endless!
