Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The goal of this project is to create a peer to peer blog that gives English and Spanish speaking youth the opportunity to communicate beyond the language barrier of not being bilingual. The objective of this learning environment is to bridge the communication gap that is oftentimes present can begin to be addressed with the adaptation of translation devices.

The utilization of a recorded youth led blog would allow other peers the opportunity to witness the positive outcomes of breaking beyond the language barrier.

The ultimate desired outcome is the proper use of barrier breaking for a connection of the community. We are all better when proper communication is on display.
