The materials requested will give my students the opportunity to express their social emotional needs through the use of art. Every canvas painted will have a story created by young adults who will be our future leaders. Students will identify effective ways of self expression. We will build a community through the use of our tablets to post mini expressive YouTube shorts via utilization of our tablets. We are looking to incorporate additional students as our projects are displayed. The strategies we utilize will be transferable in the home environment. Students are expected to take their newly acquired skills back to their community to improve their social interactions.
