Let's help each other. I teach Pre-k to 18 wonderful children. Most of my children come from low-income families.

My students love to help me in the classroom. One day when I was vacuuming the floor after a big cutting project the children asked me if they could help me vacuum. I said no because it wasn't a child-friendly vacuum. I told them I would try to get a child-sized vacuum for the class. I would never take a chance with them using something that wasn't age appropriate.

This vacuum will help the children feel like they are being part of the team. They get to share a new toy and work together to keep our room clean and neat. They will learn about responsibilities and why we need to keep things clean.

You will make it possible for the children to be able to help out in an age appropriate way. My children are the best and I will do my very best to get the the supplies they need to make school the best place on earth.
