Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the most amazing group of fourth-grade students in my class. Every single one of them is special and unique. They each have different backgrounds and come to school with a different family stories.

Some of my students do not get to celebrate birthdays at home, so school is where they can celebrate with friends.

We will do this by using the calendar to display the birthdays all year. We will also give each student a birthday certificate and a cool bracelet on the day of their birthday to help make them feel special. The glue, scissors, and paper will help us to make a beautiful birthday crown that they can wear all day!
