Many of my students are new to America. They are new to the English language and have come here to live a better life. Some of them are separated from their parents to live here with another family member in order to get a better education. The Time for kids magazines will help me to expose my students to the English language and to what is going on around them in America. The magazines will teach the students about subjects effecting elementary students just like themselves. The students will be able to read with a partner or work in small group with the teacher.
