Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are an energetic, engaging group of kids! They sometimes struggle with socializing and understanding boundaries. It is my job as a teacher to help and encourage these students to create positive friendship bonds.

There are so many benefits to having Legos in the classroom!

The students can learn to work cooperatively while building complex structures. They will practice important turn-taking skills while encouraging their partners with positive words. Recess will be a wonderful time for the students to work together, making creations using cognitive and motor skills.

Legos are a great tool to encourage interest in STEM. Imagine using Legos to engineer different modes of transportation or to build towers we can later measure.
