My students are creative, dedicated learners! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, however, sometimes it is hard for them to stay focused.
I try my best to create the best environment for them and provide lots of activities that allow them to move around and stay focused.
My Project
My goal is to have seating options that benefit the variety of learners in my classroom. Using flexible seating and creating a classroom with choice and movement opportunities has been proven to enhance students ability to stay focused during instruction time.
Flexible seating would allow my students to take charge of their learning and use a bouncy band to release some extra energy.
The students can stretch their legs and move around and it does not cause a distraction to the other students. The balance balls will provide yet another opportunity for students to release some energy while they work productively and focus on the task at hand!
