Let's BOOGIE With LCD Boogie Boards!

Help me give my students LCD BOOGIE BOARDS to practice writing letters, numbers, words, sentences, and math problems with!

My Students

My first graders are a group of CURIOUS children! They LOVE using our individual whiteboards and ask frequently throughout the day if they can use them to practice whatever skills they are working on. They are starting to document things as they explore. They love to write words we have learned, math problems, and draw pictures, then run up to me and show me their hard work! We go through A LOT of dry erase markers and erasers in our classroom. LCD Boogie Boards would save my students time with clean-up and save money with the amount of dry erase markers we would not be using!

My Project

Although personal whiteboards are fun for students to use, they can also cause a headache for the students (and the teacher)! Marker lids don't always snap on properly, or they pop off and roll underneath the shelf. The erasers get used up or destroyed, the boards get scratched over time. Students spend lots of time erasing when they begin to delaminate. And the cost of replacing markers, erasers, and whiteboards really add up! There must be a better way!

Introduce LCD boogie boards!

These handheld boards have an LCD screen and a stylus that is shaped like a pencil. Students use them just like a whiteboard, but no markers to keep track of! No erasers to collect! No bulky, heavy whiteboards to make room for! The stylus is attached to the board itself, so no chance of losing them! A simple click of a button erases the screen, so no more waiting for everyone to follow directions or share erasers! These boards are lightweight and can be carried around with the students throughout the day. A simple solution to what can be a time-consuming problem in an elementary classroom! This teacher's dream come true!
