Our students are from a community and school with limited resources. The music program has no budget, and yet we get through the year with donations. Many of my students rehearse almost every day, after school, to supplement the time they may have during class. Students prefer to stay in the music room before class, during lunch, and late after school.
My students are a mixture of 9th through 12th graders who are eager learners and members of any of the music classes we offer during the day and after school.
Having some time this winter to evaluate what I can improve in the piano class, I noticed that not everyone in the class has a good view of the instructor's projected hands. We currently use a salvaged wall projector that I personally mounted to show my students a keyboard, demonstrating how it should be played.
Help me get a wall mounted, large TV so that all of my piano students are able to see my demonstrations to better understand what I am teaching.
I want my students to have the best chance of succeeding in class and this might just help boost the chances.
