This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
WECC is a Title I funded school in NNPS. We service a wide array of students who are four and five years old. This is their first experience in a school setting, and we are providing the foundation for their educational career.
With these supplies, my students will be able to explore the aspects of light and shadows as well as show their creativity through light table activities!
My students this year have really taken to expressing themselves in many different ways. The light table provides students a way to see the world through a brighter perspective. Unfortunately, the provided light tables often break and there is no way to replace the light bulb. With these new, efficient, light tables, I will be able to help my students shine bright and create a new way of learning for them in our room!
