Help me give my students the prompts they need for creating a theater that will support their language development, creativity in a fun way. Students will have the opportunity to presents their stories to their peers and parents.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is full of students that love to read and listen to stories. Literacy centers support my native Spanish students and non native students to acquire the skills they need to be proficient in both Spanish and English They need exposure to many different literacy and oral tasks to be biliterate.
Having access to these different tools will give them the opportunity they need to reach this goal.
Understanding the process of acquiring another language, I can help my become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural in this ever changing world.
My Project
This project will support my bilingual students to develop vocabulary, creativity in Spanish and English. Having this materials will promote excitement for literacy that will impact their reading level.
Students will be able to transfer their comprehension and apply it as they perform to their peers and parents.
What a great opportunity to develop their creativity and social emotional as they participate in these new center of language arts.
I'm very excited to see how my 1st graders develop their love for reading and transferring it into art! Thank you for support my bilingual stars as we venture in this new and exiting center.
