My Project

My students enjoy reading books about sports. Their favorites may be books about the Kansas City Chiefs or the Dallas Cowboys. I would like to pique their interest in the 2024 Summer Olympic games and encourage their curiosity while reading biographies.

Children are naturally curious about famous or historic people.

These biographies will help bolster student vocabulary and develop needed background knowledge. Biographies may help students to understand history and the make connections to the world around them. Reading biographies will give students perspectives on success and failure. Students may even be encouraged to follow their dreams.
