My Project

My students are outstanding in that they love to read, learn, and challenge themselves. We read the novel, “The Lemonade War” in class and they roared with excitement when they found out there was a second book! This impressed me and gave me the idea of a book “gift” for the end of the school year.

I would love to be able to gift my students with this novel as a surprise parting-gift before summer vacation.

This book would be a perfect challenge for many of my students. I would love to invite them to read this book over the summer and join them in reading it! Initially, I planned on getting a few gifts to put inside a fun cup as an end-of-year “thank you” for my students, however, gifting every student with this sequel would have much more value as they continue to build comprehension and reading skills. It will also be something that lasts and could be passed down to benefit others.
