My Students

Our school has about 320 students. We are a Title I district and have a large portion of students that are free and reduced lunch. We are a rural community with limited resources but make the most of what we have. Our students are wonderful and love learning. Most have a growth mindset and positive attitude which makes teaching enjoyable. Our students deserve the best and work hard for what they have. They are sweet, caring kids who enjoy being kind. The students for this project are 5th graders who worked very hard to create applied learning projects. I wanted to reward them for their hard work with item they requested for testing and our new playground.

My Project

Our 5th graders worked very hard on an applied learning activity and earned money to help with our playground. They wanted some fun things to do while on the playground, like balls and games to play with. They also requested erasers and cool pencil sharpeners for testing. They are going to be so excited when they see these new items for our already amazing playground. They are also going to love the pencil sharpeners and erasers they requested. Its great to show our students that hard work does really pay off!

My students' faces are going to light up when they see the items they asked for!
