My Project
My students are in desperate need of working headphones! Post pandemic life relies heavily on technology in the daily classroom. To help them experience academic success, first they need to develop and expand their technology skills. My school is a Title 1 school with many students unable to complete their homework assignments and task at home, due to lack of technology. However, headphones in the classroom would help them access all the curriculum material needed and begin to close the learning gap left from COVID 19. In order to do so, we need your help to buy headphones! These headphones will be used for curriculum read aloud audios, for Google Classroom meetings, as well as interactive reading and math activities. We also strive to incorporate brain breaks and social emotional learning during technology. Individual headphones would increase students ability to remain focused on individual students tasks, free of distractions from their peers. Headphones would also provide me the ability to meet individual student needs and provide accommodations for my students with disabilities. A reliable pair of headphones can help provide my students with the resources they need to have academic success and confidence in themselves.
