Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are passionate storytellers who love using technology to share what’s happening around our school. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring creativity, collaboration, and dedication to our Multimedia Club. Every week, they give up their free time to produce our school news broadcast. They take pride in highlighting student voices and creating content that brings our school community closer together.
This project will give them the tools to livestream events like talent shows and assemblies on YouTube, helping them learn real-world media production skills.
The video switcher allows them to run a multi-camera setup without needing a computer, while the wireless microphones ensure that voices on stage are clearly heard. These resources will make their broadcasts more professional and accessible for families who can’t attend in person. My goal is to help students build confidence, leadership, and technical skills while doing something they love—creating meaningful content for their school.
