We are already using the LED signs in our school news broadcast, and they have helped make our setup look more professional and exciting for students. My Multimedia Club students work on sharing announcements, school events, and positive messages with our campus, and having a better backdrop helps make the news feel more like a real production.\r\nThis project is also helping students feel more confident when they are on camera. A lot of students are nervous at first, but being part of the news helps them practice speaking, working with others, and taking responsibility for something that the whole school gets to see. The signs help create a space that feels special and gives students more pride in the work they are doing.\r\nWe will continue using these signs next school year as we keep growing our school news program. Although we have not been able to use the equipment with students yet, this project has already helped us prepare for something exciting next school year. This year, the focus was getting the proper permission, planning how the equipment will be used, and making sure we are ready to use it the right way for school events.\r\n\r\nNext school year, my Multimedia Club students will be able to use this equipment to help livestream and record school events in a much more professional way. They will get hands-on experience learning how to switch between cameras, think about sound and video, and work together as a production team. These are real technology and media skills that students can carry with them beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest impacts will be helping families stay connected to our school. With this equipment, students will be able to help share assemblies, performances, promotion, and other important events with families who may not be able to attend in person. One of our favorite moments was when students worked together to measure garden beds, prepare soil, and plant seeds for vegetables and pollinator-friendly flowers. Students took ownership of their sections of the garden, labeling plants, creating watering schedules, and recording growth observations in journals. These hands-on experiences have turned science lessons into meaningful, real-world learning. The students were thrilled and immediately eager to get started! Many exclaimed with excitement and couldn't wait to touch the tools and explore the supplies. Some students who are usually quiet in the classroom became leaders, showing confidence as they learned how to use the garden tools. Their excitement showed how meaningful it was for them to have real materials to work with instead of just reading about gardening. Next, students will continue monitoring plant growth, learning about plant life cycles, soil health, and the importance of sustainability. They will collect data, observe changes over time, and discuss how environmental factors affect plants. As the garden grows, students will also explore ways to share their harvest and knowledge with our school community, reinforcing teamwork, responsibility, and environmental stewardship.","fullyFundedDate":1754324745022,"projectUrl":"project/garden-club/9516936/","projectTitle":"Garden Club","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Puno","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8601205"},{"teacherId":6149357,"projectId":9374532,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping our Student Council by funding our project!
