I love that my students are eager to learn new things! They are full of wonder, and notice the minute a new activity is offered. They are at the age where anything I put out, is their new favorite thing. They will spend days perfecting their newfound skills, and then are ready for what's next.
I would like to be able to offer them new sensory learning experiences.
Letting them explore using their senses makes learning fun, and builds a rock-solid foundation. I'm hoping to build up our Science and Math Centers with this project.
Many of the materials in this classroom are old, broken, or missing pieces. My goal is to start building up each Center with interesting, hands-on toys. Most of the materials were chosen to help excite young learners to explore using their sense of touch and sight. Specifically, our Science Center needs more toys that pique creativity and wonder.
This project will help build up our Science and Math Centers, and prompt new wonderings in my students.
I want to give them opportunities for curiosity and creativity. I want them to wonder about magnets, colors, insects, and texture. I know these items will enhance our Center Time and become favorites!
