My Project

The vision of our specialty school for students with disabilities is to prepare them for adulthood post-graduation. When we are not in the community and at worksites teaching employment skills, we are teaching classes such as functional academics, civics, art, computer science, and vocational classes.

I am so fortunate to be teaching our students Computer Science, I love technology and enjoy facilitating new/different experiences for my students.

In our Computer lab, a printer would be such a welcomed addition. We created various digital artifacts which is amazing to see but due to a lack of resources in their homes or inability to navigate technology, parents/guardians are not always able to see their work. This printer would allow us in the classroom to easily print and send home their work. Also, some students prefer to have a physical keepsake that they can post in their room/home. Please consider donating to or sharing our project to make our dream for 2024 a reality.
