My Students

Why are my students special? Despite their surroundings, they come to school every day, ready to learn. We live in a very low socioeconomic area. Many students are living in poverty, and school is the only "fun" they have all day. Between the teachers, parents, and community leaders, we all try to do whatever we can to make learning fun and enjoyable. My students are close to my heart, and, with your donation, we can make them successful.

As a teacher, I spend between $1,000 and $2,000 each year on all items needed to help my students.

Snacks are a very important, and expensive part of their learning. If they are hungry when they come to school, it makes learning so much harder. Snacks to take home, or to eat during the day, helps them learn.

My Project

Its that time of the year where we get to explore, build and imagine. What better way to this then LEGOS. I feel Legos have always played a great part in letting our children imagine.

My students have worked hard all year, and now I can let them have some quality time building, exploring, and socializing in a productive manner.

Legos would help them do this.

I have a small set of Legos, and the kids love them!

With your support, I can expand the creativity time, and more children will be able to build! Let's get the children using their imagination.
