My Students

My students are resilient. They come to school each day with varying stressors and they still want to learn! I am in constant awe of how much energy these kiddos have. While the energy can feel bigger than their own bodies at times, they are working so hard to be the very best version of themselves. They inspire me every single day!

My Project

These materials would deepen my students guidance lesson plans (I am a first year school counselor) around social emotional learning, bullying and harassment, personal safety, career, etc. I have used some lesson plans from this site many times and they offer such great hands-on materials and creative ideas!

I also would use this site to build up social cognition groups and other small group interventions (friendship, family structure, grief, ability, and other group topics).

The students will benefit from these weekly lesson plans throughout their elementary years! I would greatly appreciate the support!
