Every third grader has access to their own chrome book here at school. It has been challenging to keep them charged, organized, and \"ready to use\" until receiving and setting up the charging stations! It is so helpful, fantastic really, that we can use our time in a more efficient way. \r\nStudents use chrome books/technology to access reading and writing in a different way. We have digital resources connected to our district literacy and math curriculum programs so having a charged device leads to a more productive and exciting learning time. Some students use their device for speech to text to support the process and development of their written work.\r\nMy third graders take pride in finding their labeled device and in putting it back \"in it's spot\" knowing that it will be just right and ready for the next time that they need to use it. This Spring, students will be required to use their device to complete state standardized assessments. We have been able to quickly do Typing Club and other keyboarding apps to prepare us for this new testing experience. I am both relieved and grateful that the stress of charging and prepping the chrome books is resolved. You have helped support and encourage learning in our classroom. For my special education students, snacks are much more than just food—they are a vital part of helping students stay regulated, focused, and ready to learn. Many of my students have unique sensory needs and specific routines around eating, which can make finding appropriate, safe, and comforting snacks a real challenge. Because of your donation, we are able to provide snacks that meet their needs and help them feel comfortable throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThese specific snacks have made a noticeable difference in our classroom. When students have access to foods that feel familiar and safe, they are better able to engage in learning, manage transitions, and participate in activities. Your generosity has helped reduce stress, increase stamina, and support emotional regulation, allowing my students to focus on learning instead of hunger or discomfort.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom is a more supportive and responsive environment for every learner.
