My Project

Our second grade students would love some materials to work on to collaborate and solve building projects, and create their own visions - Lego materials are perfect manipulatives/Stem items.

We have several students with disabilities and emotional issues.

LEGO is so loved by many autistic people that it has: given rise to its own form of autism therapy, received its own category in special interest surveys, and which resulted in a Guinness World Record – for largest LEGO Titanic replica.

Having Lego stations in the calming corner and STEM corner will be a tool that can be used over and over again.

LEGO bricks have been the number one tool I have in my classroom to bring all students together. The girls are just as excited as the boys which has been a fabulous thing to watch, observe, encourage.
