My Project

LEGO sets are powerful tools for cognitive development, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and learning. The students love building Lego Sets! Studies show that "LEGO's can be calming and stress-relieving. Students focus on a task, manipulating small pieces, and creating tangible items can help reduce stress and anxiety in both children and adults".

I will be getting a new classroom this fall.

This room is going to be used for autistic students. I want it to be a safe, calming room where they can express themselves. I feel that at this age, it is very important that their self-confidence be boosted as much as possible. LEGO sets are powerful tools for cognitive development, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and learning.
