Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager learners who come from lower-income families. We are a Title I school. My 25 little scholars attend a high-needs school in Queens. They are excited to learn and to sharpen their skills and our year is off to a terrific start!

My kindergartners love working hard and learning but they are an active group who needs classroom items to keep their little hand and big minds busy.

They love building and constructing new things and using their instinctive creativity.

My Project

My students are such eager learners and I want to instill in them a love of engineering and building. These building activities will allow them to flourish in the world of technology. It will also give my active little ones an activity that can keep their little hands busy. LEGO bricks are wonderful learning tools for children of all ages, but is especially useful to the little ones just learning how to build and construct. I think my children would find these LEGO sets very satisfying to their creativity and instill in them a lifelong commitment to problem solving. The future is theirs.
