This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our HEARTS students are full of imagination and innovation. I love seeing their creativity in our arts and crafts clubs. However, there are students that are more interested in building and STEM approaches.

What a better way to help our students than through LEGO building.

Students will be able to be creative while playing architects in our new LEGO club. Not only that, student will work on real-world problems and find creative solutions. Students will enter at-home building competitions to see who can build the tallest skyscraper or homes for zoo animals.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
