Lego Again Tomorrow!

Help me give my students a Lego building table and magna tiles so they can continue to explore and create every day during free choice time!

My Project

Free choice time during the school day is crucial for our kindergarteners. During this time, the students participate in play based learning which sharpens their social, emotional, physical, and academic learning. One activity that is especially popular in my classroom this year during free choice is playing with Legos! Legos allow for creativity and provide a way to master many other kinds of emerging skills, such as problem solving, spatial skills and understanding semi complex tasks. While lots of my students play with Legos, there is not a designated spot for them in our room, and most end up with the Legos spread on the floor. They also love making unique creations and want to save their building for the next day.

Having a designated Lego table with storage in our room would allow the students to keep their creativity blossoming day after day!

It would also be great for my students to have magnetic tiles to offer a new material to create with and utilize for STEM exploration!
