My Students

I decided to set up this account for my classroom because I found out about DonorsChoose.org through my student teaching experience, and I thought it would be great for this year. My students are elementary students receiving special education services in my room, and I'm very excited to transform the classroom into a school within a school. Since most of my students have autism and additional EBDs, the classroom environment is very important to ensure their academic success.

My Project

The students will benefit from the materials by having a few prearranged literacy activities that can be used for multiple years. Many of the resources they currently have are worksheets or single-use activities. The literacy games and activities will also help my paraprofessionals further student's learning during free time or additional time after the main lesson is completed.

Because these materials are mainly games and interactive activities, I feel as though my students will benefit from these activities as compliance is often an issue when work is presented to the students.
