My Students

The students in my kindergarten are kind and curious. They come to school excited to learn something new every day. This openness to learning makes them the kind of kids I love to teach!

Kindergarten students love lessons that are fun and engaging!

If there is excitement and energy built around lessons my students are on target! I love them their enthusiasm!

Getting Scholastic classroom magazines into the hands of these children will put authentic text in front of these students who are learning to read. Accessing informational text in a magazine format will be sure to encourage and develop a motivation to read! I’m excited for this opportunity!

My Project

The Scholastic magazine for kindergartners called Let’s Find out! will give my students another resource for reading and learning about the wonderful world around them! This weekly magazine will be engaging and full of fun things to read about. A digital component is also part of the subscription that we can access for in class learning.

An exciting part of this project is to be able to send students home with these magazines.

This creates a wonderful opportunity for families to be part of the learning and conversation and home/school connection!
