My students are enthusiastic, hard working, and happy kids. I have a wide range of reading levels among my students, but I see a determination to learn in each and every one of them. I have an A.M. and a P.M. class. I am part of a Title I school, so a majority of my students come from low income homes.
All of my students take on new things with excitement and joy.
I love to see them make friends and grow in their learning.

My Project
I recently acquired a sensory table, thanks to awesome donors, and it made me see just how much more kids retain when they learn through using all their senses. I wanted to expand my small collection of sensory equipment so that I can have the chance to let my students be more hands-on in their learning. These items would help me offer more options to my students, making them more willing to practice their letter, numbers, and small motor skills. I think playing is incredibly important in kindergarten, so teaching them to learn while they play is vital to ensure students to love learning. I would also love to get the lid for the sensory table to make using the table easier.
