Right now my students have close to zero hands-on science kits. I want to teach my students about magnets and building in ways other than worksheets. These kits(Fun With Magnets, STEM Magnets! Activity Sets, and Oak Creek Lodge) will enrich their understanding and enthusiasm for science. I remember playing with science kits when I was in kindergarten, and it made the difference between me loving science and just tolerating it. I am a first-year teacher so I don't have nearly as many supplies as I feel my students need. I hope that DonorsChoose.org can help me get the supplies that will really help my student love learning.
