My Students

My Louisiana first graders are excited about being in school! 100% of our students receive free lunch. Our students have a vivid imagination and love to learn! They love to interact, read, and play games. They come to school each day ready to learn and challenge themselves both personally and academically! First graders are like a flower...they blossom throughout the year!

My Project

The Osmo will provide my students with a resource for hands-on learning and creative thinking. It will be used across the curriculum in a variety of subjects. The Osmo will be used independently in small group stations as well as in teacher-led small groups. Through the use of the Osmo, students will be able to learn skills that will help them succeed in their everyday life.

The Osmo will provide students with learning opportunities through play.

It will provide students the opportunity to enhance critical thinking skills, problem-solving, creativity, phonics, and math skills. The iPad will be used with the Osmo as well as with other eductional applications to enhance student learning.
