We are a Title I school in a small rural community. The school is the center of the community and the kids are the community's prime focus. Our school is 70% Free/Reduced lunch. We provide free breakfast and lunch to all students.
Our students are resilient and are hard workers.
They come to school eager to learn and willing to try any challenge we put in front of them. Our students deserve the best and our staff strives to give them that.
My students need continuing opportunities to learn skills through play. Technology is an extremely important piece of education as well. Osmo is a win-win combination! my students will use clipboards to record data and write around the rooms.
The Osmo is a groundbreaking gaming system that fosters creative thinking and collaborative learning.
When paired with an iPad, the Osmo transforms the area in front of the tablet into an interactive environment. The students will use physical objects in the area in front of the tablet to solve puzzles, spell words, and even draw. They will be able to learn and practice reading and math skills while working collaboratively with their classmates, strengthening essential social skills.
The Osmo gaming system will introduce my students to new and exciting ways to interact with technology.
They will expand their creative thinking while learning to work well with others. So many new learning experiences!
