From the moment we unpacked the printer, students were full of questions and ideas about what we could create. They've already learned how the printer operates, what materials it uses, and how technology transforms imagination into something tangible. Seeing their faces light up as their first designs came to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had as an educator.\r\n\r\nYour continued support through the \"How to Use Our 3D Printer\" project has taken this experience to an entirely new level. The books and guides we received are helping students understand the science and engineering behind 3D printing. They're not just printing objects—they're learning about design thinking, problem-solving, and the future of technology. These resources allow us to bridge creativity with real-world STEM skills in a way that truly inspires our young learners.\r\n\r\nOur students are eager to explore projects that combine what they're reading and learning in class with new digital tools. They're discovering that the library isn't just a place for books—it's a place where ideas become reality. Because of your kindness, they now have access to tools and knowledge that prepare them for a future filled with innovation.\r\n\r\nFrom all of us at Thackerville Schools, thank you for believing in our students and their potential. My students have vocabulary terms for each chapter, then take small quizzes after each chapter. When we have finished the book there is an overall quiz. The best part is we then get to watch the movie. Students must take notes of differences between the book and the movie and write an essay over their top 3 differences. Some of our novels have outdoor fieldtrips after reading, and some have history research. My students were surprised to learn where Adolph Hitler was really from and his background in their research before we read our new book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. \r\n\r\n I had several students that wanted to take the book home and read in the evenings.
