My students need motivational stickers, fun prizes, and colorful bulletin board decorations to enhance and make their learning environment fun and exciting!
A typical day in my classroom involves lots of math! I teach math to three third grade classes. That's about sixty students! We are always counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, or building something! I am hoping that my students leave my room feeling as if they are mathematicians!
As my students continue their journey through third grade, I want to ensure they have all materials needed to help them to be successful learners.
My students come to school willing and eager to learn. My students always find great satisfaction in discovering new things. They truly love to explore and learn!
My Project
These new materials will help me to motivate my students as they learn! My students love seeing stickers on their work when I hand it back to them! My students are also motivated by positive comments. Every week the tables that receive the most compliments are able to visit our classroom prize box. Right now, the squishy toys are very popular prizes! This is very exciting for them and helps to keep students on task. I also believe that the classroom environment plays a big part in our attitudes, so I try to keep it colorful and inviting by creating bulletin boards with attractive colors and signs. Having new bulletin boards helps to spruce up our space as well! This helps to make our environment a positive and fun place to learn!
