My students are growing up in the Las Vegas area and are striving to do their very best! They have amazing hearts and are very willing to learn. They try their best on a daily basis and want to prove to everyone they can succeed. They know how to have fun but also know business is business and they put their best foot forward. These kids deserve the best and I intend to give them all I can and do my best for them.
My Project
This project will allow my students to get exposure to different texts before they are even able to read it themselves. The best way to learn is by seeing and being a part of the book. My kindergartners will love having these new books with CDs in their listening center!
This center not only allows my students to get exposure to books but it also allows them to work together to discover different words and meanings of the text they are reading.
These students love holding books in their hands and seeing the different illustrations. They are on their way to becoming excellent readers and this will help along their path.
