My students are 21st century learners! They are inquisitive, eager to learn and excited to come to school every day! They love to use technology all day, every day in our classroom. They love to strengthen their lessons in both Math and Language Arts using our Promethean board and teacher laptop. They are ready to branch out on our own with brand new student laptops. Their faces light up whenever I tell them it’s computer time!
Do you like to play games and do research on the computer?
Well, my students do too. They are ready to learn and absorb all the knowledge that they can every day. We use technology to do this. Our district motto is we love, we learn, we lead. New student laptops will encourage the love of learning in my students so they can lead the way into the future!
My Project
Technology rules! Students love to use computers to learn. I am asking for 2 laptops for student use. There are many computer programs and websites that my Kindergarten students can use to enhance and enrich their learning in both Math and Language Arts.
Students can use these laptops to access Lexia Phonics, iReady Math and Accelerated Reader in the classroom on a daily basis.
The laptops will allow the students to work on language arts and math skills during small group centers. Right now, we are using the teacher laptop to utilize our Promethean board but we need more opportunities to interact with technology every day.
