Our construction was completed over the summer - and we have officially begun setting up our sensory room. We have the perfect space for students who need a moment to calm down or self-regulate - and thanks to your generosity it is equipped with amazing sensory items. Before school started, one of the occupational therapists in the district heard of our space and asked to come see it. She was thrilled with the materials that we had - and was going to recommend some of them to her other schools. \r\n\r\nI know many of you donated for Alex's Angel Day - and I am so grateful that we were able to provide resources where I teach that Alex could have also benefitted from. It is like a little part of him is on this campus with me.
